Connecting Seller Central and Amazon Ads
Seller Central comes first. Every store starts from a Seller Central account. Amazon Ads is linked to it afterwards, because the Ads reports (spend, search terms, TACOS) need it, while orders, the ASIN Library and Brand Analytics do not.
Connect Seller Central
Settings → Stores → Add Store. Sign in on Amazon, approve the request, and you return to SellerTacos to pick marketplaces. One store is created per marketplace you choose. A marketplace that already has a store for that Seller account is skipped, never duplicated.
Link Amazon Ads
Click Connect Ads on the store's row. If your organisation has already authorised Amazon Ads in that region, the store links with no second Amazon screen. Otherwise you approve on Amazon's page.
SellerTacos matches the ad profile to the store by seller and marketplace (same region, same seller id, same marketplace), and never uses a profile another store already uses.
Good to know
- You approve on Amazon's own page. We never see your Amazon password.
- You can remove SellerTacos's access in Seller Central or Amazon Ads whenever you like.
- A store without Amazon Ads still syncs orders, the ASIN Library and Brand Analytics. It simply has no ad numbers.
- Only an Owner or Admin can add, link, rename or delete stores. Deleting a store also removes its Seller or Ads connection when no other store uses it.
"No matching profile was found"
The Amazon Ads account you approved does not include that marketplace for the same seller. Try again with the Ads account that advertises in that marketplace.
Problems later
If a store shows Reconnect, see A store shows Reconnect or syncing has paused.
