Apply Bid, undo, and Pause ads

On the Keyword Performance page (top navigation), a row with a bid suggestion can have an Apply button that makes the change in your Amazon Ads account for you. It writes to your live account, so it is limited:

  • You need the Store manager role or higher.
  • When billing is on, it is a Pro plan feature (bid automation).
  • The store must have Amazon Ads connected.

How the new bid is worked out

The suggestion is a percentage change. SellerTacos applies it to the keyword's current stored bid, not to the search term's CPC:

new bid = stored keyword bid × (1 + change %), rounded to cents and kept between 0.01 and 1,000. A raise is 0 to +100%, a lower is −90% to 0. Cut spend pushes the explicit target bid shown (at most 10).

Example. A keyword bid is ₹20 and the suggestion is "Raise bid 20%": the new bid is ₹24. After a successful change the stored bid is updated, so a second change before the next sync starts from ₹24.

Which keyword is changed

The keyword is matched on campaign, ad group, the report's targeting and match type. If more than one keyword could match, or it is an auto-targeting row with no keyword, Apply is hidden rather than risk changing the wrong one.

Result and history

Amazon answers each change item by item. If it rejects the bid (for example below the marketplace minimum) you see an error, not "Bid applied". The Bid changes tab lists every change with old and new bid and who made it.

Undo

Undo restores the old bid. It is refused while a newer change to the same keyword exists (undo that one first, so its bid is not overwritten), and the change stays undoable if Amazon rejects the restore.

Pause ads

On the Products page (turn the Pause ads column on in Columns), Pause ads pauses a SKU's enabled Sponsored Products ads, with the Store manager role on any plan, matched by SKU (other SKUs on the same ASIN keep running). It reports how many ads were paused, and Undo within 24 hours re-enables exactly those. See Inventory, days of cover and restock.

The AI assistant

The AI assistant can propose the same kind of changes, but each one waits for your confirmation on a card.
