Orders page and how orders are counted
Orders (under the Products menu) lists every order of the selected store, newest first. Open a row to see its items.
What we read
Orders sync from Seller Central about every hour: order and item details, dates, quantities, prices and status. We never download buyer names, addresses, tax or payment details.
Filters and export
Filter by date range (in the store's local calendar), status, and SKU or ASIN. Export CSV downloads one row per order item with the same filters.
Which count includes what
| Where | Counts |
|---|---|
| Orders page row count, Cart → Purchase | Every order placed in the period, all statuses, cancelled included |
| Dashboard Total Orders | Pending, unshipped, partially shipped and shipped orders. Cancelled orders are not counted. |
| Sales, Average Order Value, Marketing Cost per Order, Performance Total Orders | The orders behind Total Sales: cancelled orders and items, and items without a price, are left out |
| Search-term views only | Amazon's ad-attributed orders, because Seller Central cannot tie an order to a search term |
So the Orders page can show more orders than the dashboard when some were cancelled, and the dashboard can show a few more than the orders behind Total Sales when an order has an item with no price yet. See Why my numbers don't match.
Where orders appear on a map
The Orders Map shows where those orders ship.
