The Orders Map

Reports → Orders → Orders Map shows where your orders ship: states shaded by order count, and postal-code circles when you zoom in. It follows the same filters as the Orders page (date range, search, product filters).

What it shows

  • States as a shaded map: darker = more orders. Hover a state for its orders and sales.
  • Postal codes appear past a zoom level as circles, sized by orders, with city labels. Hover for the city, the code, orders and sales.
  • Lists of the top 5 states and top 5 postal codes.

Supported countries today: India and the United States.

What is left off

  • Pending orders have no address yet, so they have no location. A note under the map shows the share of orders that have one.
  • A state or postal code we cannot match to the map is counted below the map ("N orders not placed on the map"), never guessed.
  • Cancelled orders are left out, unless you filter on that status.

How fresh it is

Recent days refresh once a day, and older weeks load once. "Data through" shows the newest day loaded, normally yesterday. An order that was pending and then ships appears within a day.

Privacy

We read only the ship-to city, state, postal code and country and order-level facts such as status and date. Never names, street addresses, phone numbers or emails.

If the map stays empty, an import line explains the state, or that Amazon has not given access to the report yet.
